Update on Resurfacing / Roads Improvement Schemes Locally:

Update on Resurfacing / Roads Improvement Schemes Locally:

At a recent meeting with Transport NI an update was given on the progress of road / footway improvement schemes across the Borough.

I am pleased to see the completion of resurfacing works along parts of the Woodburn Road & Dairylands Road and welcome the news that works will soon be completed to resurface Coronation Crescent, Carrickburn Road, Dromore Road (Regent Avenue to Downshire Gardens), Edenvale Avenue & Woodburn Avenue.

Surface treatment on roads & footways has also been completed on Brook Avenue, Collin Heights, Tardree Heights, Sandringham Park, Farm Lodge Grove, Silverstream Banks.

I have lobbied for a number of other areas within the Borough to see resurfacing and improvement works and will continue to press Transport NI to see that these projects are carried out.

If you have specific concern about roads etc in your area please get in touch and I will raise the matter with Roads Service directly.
