Downshire School Canoe Challenge

Last week I was very pleased to support the teachers of Downshire School who are taking part in the Great Scottish Coat-to-Coast canoe challenge.

The challenge starts on the 1st July 2014 for 4 days, from Fortwillian on the west coast all the way to Inverness on the east coast travelling through the Caledonian Canal, Lough Lochy & Lough Ness.

The team's chosen charity is Northern Ireland Hospice and up to now they have been very successful in attracted much needed sponsorship.  If you would like to donate you can contact the team directly at Downshire school for more information.
